Description
The Tarantula Nebula.
This is one of the farthest south deep sky targets around.. Its a beautiful, very large nebula in the LMC.. If the tarantula nebula was the same distance from earth as the Orion nebula, it would span 60x the width of the full moon in the night sky, and would be so bright that it would cast shadows... That would be an amazing sight...
This shot is 10x600 sec exposures with darks and flats used to calibrate...
